About the Centre

Prospero Teaching are working alongside an Early Childhood Service with two fantastic locations in Moore Park & Zetland. The centres aim to create a loving and nurturing environment for all children in their care. They welcome children, educators, and families from all backgrounds to create a respectful and supportive community. All educators believe in building secure relationships and providing children with a safe base for exploration and learning.  Every child’s voice is valued and reflected throughout their practices, enabling the children to be actively involved in decision making. The centre are seeking a confident educator to support in their Toddler or Baby Room depending on experience and preference.

Skills and Experience 

• Be passionate about promoting children’s development and their learning
• Demonstrate a high pedagogical standard and ability to communicate these standards clearly
• Effectively perform responsibilities of an Early Childhood Educator within NSW
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

You must  

• Be residing in Australia and have full working rights
• Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Teaching or Diploma/Cert 3 in ECE (or an ACECQA equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality standards
• Completed practical placements with children aged 0 – 5
• First aid / CPR / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current child protection training
