Integration Aide

Prospero Teaching are working closely with schools across Melbourne who are looking for dedicated Teacher Aides to support children with learning difficulties by providing a nurturing and inclusive educational environment. We are seeking passionate and compassionate education support staff to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

Your role

• Support students with learning difficulties in a classroom setting.
• Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
• Help with classroom activities and manage classroom behaviour.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress.
• Monitor and report on student progress and development.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children with learning difficulties or in a similar role.
• Certificate III or IV in Education Support or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of special education needs and strategies.
