About the role

The centre are seeking a passionate Room Leader to lead a small team of educators within the Baby Room. Duties will include:

• Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate programs and activities for babies in the room
• Providing a safe and nurturing environment for babies to learn and explore
• Supervising and monitoring babies in the room at all times.
• Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers about their child’s progress and development
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the room
• Keeping the room clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
• Assessing and documenting babies’ progress and development
• Providing guidance and support to other staff members in the room

You must 

• Currently residing in Australia and hold a valid VISA
• Diploma in ECE (or an ACECQA equivalent)
• Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality standards
• First aid / CPR / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current child protection training
• Two professional references
