We are looking for dedicated and experienced Special Education Teachers to provide support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs on a casual basis. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work collaboratively with school staff and parents to create inclusive learning environments that cater to the individual needs of each student.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and teaching strategies to accommodate students with special needs.
• Provide one-on-one support and small group instruction to students with diverse learning requirements.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, and behavior.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive learning experiences for all students.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
