Special Character teaching positions available

We have a handful of client schools in the North and South Island that follow religious instruction and are a special character school of either Christian or Catholic values. Our clients are looking for a teacher who has a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school supporting the growth of their students faith.

About the opportunities: 

-Majority of the roles are based in Auckland. There is some client schools located in the North and South Island as well as rural.

-Start dates are between Term 4 2024 or Term 1 2025

-Both Fixed term and permanent opportunities available

What are client schools are looking for: 

-Excellent understanding of faith based Education

-Confidence to lead prayer, promoting biblical worldview, and upholding the special character of the school

-View children as Taonga and encourage students to uphold the values of the school

-Nurturing children’s faith based journey and supporting their growth in a fun and engaging environment

-An ability to form warm relationships with Children, Families, and teaching team

To be successful, we are looking for teachers with:

• A Level 7 Education Qualification in Primary/Secondary and/or NZQA-approved qualifications
• Have experience in teaching primary education or religious education
• Current NZ Teachers Registration
• Must be in New Zealand or have NZ working rights
• Understand and passionate of religious education in either Christian or Catholic values
