Junior Primary Teacher - Wellington

Prospero Teaching are seeking a fixed term year 0/1 OR year 4 primary teacher in Central Wellington for our client school for Term Three and Four 2024.

This central Wellington school is guided by the national curriculum, ensuring that your child learns essential skills and values needed for life. Along with ensuring children have an enjoyment for learning and develop skills such as critical thinking, independence, is able to overcome obstacles and set goals. In addition to having a strong focus on reading, writing, and math especially in the early years.

About the role:

• Year 0 & 1 OR Year 4 Primary Teacher
• Start: Term Three
• Fixed term for term three and four 2024
• Location: Central Wellington

What our client is looking for:

• Create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
• Foster a love for learning and exploration in the classroom
• Ability to establish warm relationships with tamariki and whanau
• Good understanding of literacy and numeracy

To be successful, we are looking for teachers with:

• A Level 7 Education Qualification in Primary/Secondary and/or NZQA-approved qualifications
• Have experience in junior primary level
• Current NZ Teachers Registration
• Must be in New Zealand with NZ working rights
• Able to start in Term Three 2024
