About the role 

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to work in the Preschool Room, with the potential to take on additional leadership responsibilities. If you are a confident and pro-active teacher with a drive to succeed, this position could be for you!

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and implement daily lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum and promote age-appropriate learning
• Build rapport with children and families, creating a warm and engaging classroom community
• Utilize developmentally appropriate practices to meet the individual needs of each child and support their overall growth and development
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment while promoting healthy habits and hygiene practices
• Collaborate with coworkers and families to ensure the success of each child’s development and progress

You must

• Be a resident of Australia / full working rights
• Must hold a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
• Must hold NESA accreditation
• Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
• Current Employment Working with Children Check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Early Childhood Education models, particularly the EYLF and NQF
• Two professional references
